Disclaimer
I just want to bring a few things to the attention of my fellow Shannanigans in hopes that you will understand more about what I do. Here goes:
I only started this venture in early August. A lot of what I am doing are things I've done for many years and have a good bit of experience. Some other things, I am completely new to but I caught on pretty quick.
I am ABSOLUTELY dedicated to creating my work. Here is how my typical day goes-
I wake up at 4:30am most every. single. day. Some days, I wake up sooner. I have anxiety that makes it extremely difficult to sleep. I am quite accustom to this and so this allows me to start working in my shop quite early.
Some days, I just create whatever comes to my heart. Whatever it is I choose to do, I put my soul into it. Remember that, please.
I also work a full time job as an accountant for a construction company that requires me to be at work at 7am. So you can only imagine what I have accomplished by the time I walk out the door at 6:15ish. One more, I have 5 cups done/started.
I get off work at 4pm. During the fall and spring, I am a full time college student, working hard to complete a dual enrollment of my Account degree. (Bachelors/Masters). So when I have down time, I'm using coming up with new ideas/creations.
I am also a mother to four children, two of whom still live at home with me. I am also a wife to my amazing soldier.
I do NOT say this to brag or boast. It's actually not healthy to stay this busy and while I recognize that, it is just how I am wired. Ideal hands and all that...
I say this to say, PLEASE be patient if I don't have your work completed when you snap your fingers. I am usually working on multiple orders, studying for a test and trying to cook dinner, all at the same time! It is not a burden and I rather encourage the custom requests but some work takes time and if you want something that will last and that you truly will love, please respect all this. I promise you, I don't half ass anything and you will not be disappoint.
P.S. Crafting is my "me" time. So yes, I do have Me time. :)
